Fresh talent advance their knowledge at Quadrant

Our Art Director Shane during question time with the students from GCIT

Quadrant Creative has always valued our relationships with various education facilities and thoroughly enjoy assisting students looking to enter the industry in any way we can. We have recently had the pleasure of working with some interns from Bond University and University of the Sunshine Coast, as well as some visits from different design colleges.

Our interns had varying skill sets that they could utilise and build on in their time here under the guidance of our Art Director and Creative Director. A mixture of briefs involving copy, layout and design aspects were undertaken and impressive final portfolios were completed for their studies.

We have also recently enjoyed visits from the design students at GCIT Coomera and Designworks Burleigh. GCIT Coomera bring their students here annually to take a tour of the building and better understand the workings of an advertising agency on a daily basis. Our production manager is quite the storyteller and does a great job of informing the students of what goes on behind-the-scenes.

Quadrant gets first taste of the G: before the much anticipated public launch on July 20

Tony with Jason from Goldlinq experiencing the tram for the first time

After 4 years in the making, the Gold Coast Light rail is gearing up for it’s public launch on July 20 and our CEO, Tony Scott, was one of the lucky few to experience a ride in the lead up to the event. Naturally, we were all eager to hear about the experience in detail! Tony informed us the ride was “smooth, fast and overall, fantastic.” He said the feeling of physically being on the tram was great after years of watching it come to life, to get to this point is just amazing.

Quadrant was very pleased to hear that there’s been plenty of positive feedback regarding the marketing and advertising of the G:link system and excitement levels are running high to see the G: making it’s way around the city in full force.

Don’t miss out on your opportunity to ride the G: FOR FREE, head to a station on July 20 and experience your first taste of the tram free of charge.

Rhapsody, Surfers North has arrived

Quadrant Creative is delighted to announce our role as the advertising agency of the captivating new Surfers Paradise high-rise apartment building, Rhapsody, Surfers North. We have been working on the creative theming with esteemed developer, Ho Bee Land Limited, since last year. The 41-storey high-rise building will be the first significant new residential high-rise built in the city since the GFC and marks a positive turning point for real estate on the Gold Coast.

Rhapsody is located on the path of the G:link light rail route, which inspired our creative team to base the creative collateral around the concept of connection and fluidity in our ever-expanding city. Talented Australian composer, Brian Beamish, created a piece of music specifically for Rhapsody, which aims to capture the unmistakable energy of the vibrant city hub. This was partnered with the simple yet effective slogan, ‘feel it’. A local Brisbane model was selected to play music on a violin surrounded by a whimsical smoke effect intended to evoke feelings of excitement, strong energy and the unknown. This concept has been the basis and main theme of our whole campaign and will continue to act as the driving force behind the creative collateral.

First release of luxury apartments at Watermark already 90% sold!

Situated at The Lakes in Sydney’s award-winning Norwest, Watermark is a twin tower project comprising a stunning new range of luxury designer 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments and penthouses from renowned Hills developer, Mulpha Norwest. In the months leading up to the official launch on April 12, it was Quadrant’s job to sell the sizzle and establish the right positioning of this exclusive resort style address in the eyes of the public. We created a series of press ads, eDM’s and web ads, as well as on site marketing to sell the exclusivity of this one-of-a-kind address. Release of the first building has been an outstanding success with 90% now sold and we have no doubt the new owners will be thrilled with their purchase as construction progresses.

Official opening of One50 Public House!

Last year, Burleigh based property development group, Rayjon, approached Quadrant Creative with the prospect of establishing a contemporary new venue on the previous Surfers Rowers site on Bundall Road. After much research, retail theming and creative concepting, One50 was the name chosen for the venue and with that, a New York inspired theme was developed.

The original idea was to create a trendy waterside bar/restaurant with warehouse grunge, capable of serving any purpose. Quadrant pieced together the initial inspiration behind the d├ęcor, lighting and theming, which has been carried out and looks fantastic. The impressive feature wall facing Bundall Road was also originally designed by our Art Director and drawn by a talented Melbourne artist who was able to illustrate the exact style we were after.

One50 opened its doors for business on March 20 and has been a great success. We are thrilled to have been a part of the creative process and wish the Rayjon team the very best of luck with this exciting new endeavour!

Light rail up and running on Gold Coast roads!

The testing and commissioning phase marks a major milestone for G:link’s Gold Coast Light Rail as it is now functioning on Gold Coast roads. The aim of this phase is to ensure that the system is operating safely and effectively prior to its official public launch in June later this year.

Quadrant Creative have designed an innovative safety campaign that will run over the course of the next few months, and what better place to advertise than on the tram itself! Varying safety messages will appear on a range of tram wraps throughout the testing phase, making people aware of safety around the trams.

Some well known Gold Coast companies put their hands up and jumped on board to sponsor the safety campaign including Hot Tomato, the Gold Coast Suns and Griffith University.

Astonbrook at Carindale sold out

Villa World recently acquired a piece of land in the heart of Brisbane’s exclusive Carindale neighbourhood. Quadrant Creative had to deliver a fresh branding concept and creative package that would complement the nature of this master planned development. We came up with a range of names that we felt would work with the project and eventually, Astonbrook was chosen.

Our Art Director had a clear vision of the branding concept, which was based on a common species of Minor bird in the region perched on a branch. This branding concept signifies the parkland setting and recognizes the opportunity for residents to connect with the surrounding nature. One of our artists illustrated the branding concept design that ended up being featured on all of the creative collateral including the brochure and website.

Astonbrook at Carindale has proved to be exceptionally popular with a few months of strong sales enquiry, before selling all 47 prestige homesites.
